For people who weren’t aware; there’s an ongoing legal battle between Apple and Samsung about design similarities between many of Samsung’s smartphones and the iphone, Apple claiming that it infringes a number of patents etc.
Now, I’m no judge, and this isn’t exactly solid evidence, but this picture is pretty damn incriminating to me. If that doesn’t show Samsung are a bunch of overgrown copycats I don’t know what does.
Um, the left and right bottom ones are basically the same shape as the iphone, but with allowances for older technology.
Apple are innovation stifling patent trolls, I don’t even see how a reasonable person could defend them, I mean sure all tech companies are pretty similar, but for a company pretty much founded on only ever ripping things off and trying to pass them off as their own idea, apple can do one.
This is a flame war that really could go on for a while so I’m going to save some time and agree to disagree.
If you can’t see that the iphone and the technology+software it used completely changed the smartphone game, then I really don’t want to discuss this with you at all.
